In a plot straight out of a true-crime special, a high school teacher hired her student to kill her estranged husband—for a measly $2,000. The suspect even paid the teen $250 and told him when the house would be empty.
When the student’s mom found incriminating texts, the staffer was arrested and bonded out for $150,000. She pleaded not guilty, but prosecutors aren’t buying it—especially since she threatened to kill her ex. I guess “detention” just has a whole new meaning.
