Dina Boluarte is under fire not just for bribery or misusing power but also for a covert cosmetic makeover. Her plastic surgeon spilled the beans, confirming she underwent several aesthetic procedures while still serving as president.
“Nosegate” isn’t enough; Boluarte is also accused of “Rolexgate,” for pocketing watches she lent. It’s not exactly new in Peru—there’s a prison dedicated to ex-presidents—but Boluarte seems determined to make sure her tenure stands out for all the wrong reasons. Maybe next time she’ll wear a less noticeable watch.
